What is Three-Tie?

American Timothy hay is called “Three-Tie” Due to the way the bales are packaged. This format is renowned as the finest Timothy hay in the world, due to its extremely green colour, fragrant smell and huge seed heads, perfect for nibbling!

What makes it so special?

Due to the optimal climate US Three-Tie is a heavyweight in the world of hay and is often considered the best Timothy hay in the world. It throws up huge seed heads and grows incredibly long. This is why we have opted not to make Micro-Bales out of its as we want to preserve the length of the hay.
